Mr. Andrew Marshalleck, as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Belize Electricity Limited (BEL), leads strategic governance and oversight to ensure BEL’s alignment with its mission to deliver safe, reliable and sustainable energy solutions to Belize. A seasoned legal professional, Mr. Marshalleck brings a wealth of expertise in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and strategic decision-making. His leadership at BEL focuses on driving innovation, fostering sustainable growth, and maintaining stakeholder confidence in the evolving energy sector.
A Senior Legal Counsel, he holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics and Economics from Regis College, Colorado and a Bachelor of Law Degree from the University of the West Indies. He attended the Norman Manley Law School in Jamaica, earning a Legal Education Certificate in 1995. He was honoured by the Norman Manley Law School with the H.H. Dunn Memorial Prize for his performance in Statutory Interpretation and Legislative Drafting and with the Chairman’s Prize on graduation. He also briefly worked as a Research Officer at the Central Bank of Belize aggregating and analysing monetary statistics.
