BEL remains steadfast in its commitment to safety, health, and environmental protection through its comprehensive Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) Action Plan. For the second consecutive year, we have achieved remarkable results with a 98% completion rate of our Action Plan.
In our relentless pursuit of safety and environmental sustainability, we are developing and implementing an Integrated Safety, Health, and Environmental Management System. This initiative is guided by international standards ISO 45001 for Occupational Health and Safety and ISO 14001 for Environmental Management. By aligning our practices with these globally recognized benchmarks, BEL aims to elevate our safety and sustainability efforts to world-class levels, underscoring our role as a forward-thinking utility provider dedicated to powering Belize's future responsibly.
